Meet the HCHS Board

Henry County Humane Society is guided by a volunteer Board of Directors who help lead the organization, support its programs, and advance its mission in our community. Our board members contribute their time, financial support, and professional expertise to the work of HCHS.

Get to know the people who help guide the organization and support its work on behalf of animals in Henry County.

BOARD CHAIR
Stephanie grew up surrounded by animals, including dogs, cats, hamsters, parakeets, rabbits, and eventually a horse. That early love of animals continued into adulthood and led her to begin volunteering with Henry County Humane Society in the early 1980s, when the organization had no shelter and relied entirely on foster homes.

After several years of volunteer service, Stephani stepped away to focus on her family and Connemara ponies. In 2013, she returned to HCHS and joined the Board of Directors. She currently serves as Board Chair and also helps manage the organization’s finances, foster dogs when needed, and support fundraising efforts.
