Adoption Process
To ensure the best possible matches between pets and families, all adopters must complete an application, including veterinary references. Additional requirements include:
- A fenced yard for large dogs and some active small breeds.
- Adoptions are limited to the Metro Atlanta area.
If you’re interested in adopting, please submit a preliminary adoption application. This does not commit you to an adoption but allows us to screen potential adopters and find the best fit for each pet. If your application is approved, a volunteer will contact you by phone or email to discuss the next steps.
